La Florida Cocktail

by | Jul 7, 2020 | Drinks

No bar in the world mixes or riffs on the Daiquiriquite like Floridita in Havana. This esoteric version—from legendary cantinero and longtime Floridita owner Constantino Ribalaigua Vert—takes the Daiquiri on an aromatic tour, with herbaceous vermouth and rich crème de cacao.

1 oz. white rum
1 oz. fresh lime juice
½ oz. sweet vermouth
¼ oz. white crème de cacao
1 tsp. curaçao
1 tsp. grenadine

Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: cocktail
Garnish: orange twist

Shake all of the ingredients with ice, then strain into a chilled glass and garnish.
