Pic’s Peanut Butter supports Big Brothers Big Sisters NZ with really good label peanut butter

Buyers of really good label jars of Pic’s Peanut Butter will contribute $50,000 to grow the reach of the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programme.

100,000 jars of 380g crunchy and smooth with the special label will be on sale in Pic’s usual New Zealand outlets. $0.50 from each jar will go towards Big Brothers Big Sisters NZ, resulting in a $50,000 donation to help grow the reach of the charity’s mentoring programme.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is an international programme that made its New Zealand debut in Nelson. It now provides professionally-supported, one-on-one mentoring relationships between a child and an adult volunteer for more than 900 kids across Aotearoa.

Pic’s Peanut Butter founder Pic Picot has a personal interest in Big Brothers Big Sisters. Ten years ago, he spent an hour or two a week as a big brother to a Nelson seven-year-old. “We both loved our time together,” says Pic. “He was a really smart kid and from all accounts he’s happy and life is going well for him.”

Grab yourself a jar of really good peanut butter to contribute to a really good cause!
