Weird green bubblegum lolly-mine back on shelves

For better or for worse Tip Top has announced the return of Goody Goody Gum Drops and Cookies & Cream ice cream tubs, in a new 1.2L format, hitting the frozen aisle of supermarkets from today.

Tip Top expects this will be welcome news for supermarket shoppers, after the two flavours were discontinued in 2022 when continued increases in costs made it no longer economically viable to produce the products in the same format and price.

Head of Tip Top, Ben Schurr commented, “Removing these two flavours from supermarket freezers last year wasn’t a decision we took lightly and after the reaction from disappointed Kiwis across the country, we knew we had to find a way to bring them back.”

“We started working on a new format almost straight away, under our 1.2L Crave range, considering the economic viability of bringing back the flavours, while ensuring the quality of the product. We’re excited to announce that we’re able to deliver for our customers – their favourite ice cream flavours, using high quality products with fresh cream and milk, natural colours and flavours and the same great taste back in the supermarket.”

The two popular Tip Top ice cream flavours will be available in Crave 1.2L tubs at all leading supermarkets across the country from 17th October.

“Our customers asked, we listened, and today we’ve delivered. I’m really happy to say that two of New Zealand’s favourite Tip Top ice cream flavours are back in supermarket freezers for Kiwis to enjoy,” concluded Schurr.
