There’s one certain way to know that summer is on the way – when Gindulgence festival tickets go on sale.
On Saturday 4th of November, gin lovers from all corners of the Bay and further afield will flock to Gindulgence in Tauranga to sample over 80 gins on show from 24 unique distilleries, a juniper-laced paradise for those eager to explore new flavours and botanical combinations.
And those who can’t make it to Gindulgence in the Bay of Plenty can go further afield as Gindulgence stops in Nelson, Wellington and Christchurch on its annual tour.
If you’ve not yet experienced the joy of a gin festival in the sunshine – let me paint a picture. This time last year, the gates opened, and the gin enthusiasts flocked in. They were met by rows of colourful stalls, each one displaying an exquisite collection of gins. As the tasting glasses clinked together, the cheers of delight echoed through the festival grounds. At one stall, a group of friends gathered around, eager to quench their curiosity. “What’s this one like?” asked Sarah, her eyes twinkling with anticipation.
